Zolder race report Unlike what we hoped for, we didn't get the top ten position after all. Starting from 23rd on the grid after a poor qualifying due to a wrong tire choice, we managed to push hard at the start so we gained 5 or 6 positions in the first lap. The car felt great and all was looking really good until a water pipe decided to let go.
A huge cloud of evaporating water ended my attack for the top ten position. Still we feel good about the whole weekend bacause we did manage to improve the car again and we're convinced there's a lot of potential.
Next race for the Jag will be at the Nurburgring in October, but this time we'll be packing a new engine with more than 400HP.
Next up for us is the 6H of Spa on September 25 with the Shelby!
More to follow on that subject...
